Patient FAQs

How long is the waitlist?

Wait times vary by service and therapist availability. We contact families as soon as a suitable spot opens. We know waiting is hard and we work to move quickly.

How long are sessions?

Most sessions run for 45 minutes. Assessments and some group programs may run longer. Your therapist will confirm the time before you start.

What do we bring?

Bring your child, a drink bottle, and any reports you have. Comfortable clothes are best. We provide the rest.

Can parents stay?

Yes. We want you in the room. Your child does their best work when you are close.

Do I need a referral?

No. Families can contact Wild Kids directly to enquire about services or join the waitlist. A referral may be required if you are accessing a particular Medicare-funded pathway.
