Welcome

A space where your child can be free to be me

We built Wild Kids Allied Health for the kids who do things their own way. Our clinic in Port Kembla is a place where noise, movement, and curiosity are all welcome.

  • Play first

Therapy works best when it feels like play, not work.

  • Family centred

You know your child best, so we listen to you first.

Process

What happens on your first visit

We keep it simple and low pressure. Your child leads, we follow, and you watch the magic happen.

  1. 01

    Arrive and explore

We sit on the floor, say hello, and follow your child's lead.

  2. 02

    Meet your therapist

  3. 03

    Play and observe

  4. 04

    Talk and plan

We share what we saw and set goals together for the road ahead.

Why

Early intervention changes the whole story

The brain grows fastest in the early years. Acting now gives your child the best chance to build strong skills for life.

  • A thorough assessment reveals your child's strengths

We look at the whole child, not just the challenge. You leave with a clear picture of what your child does well and where they need support.

  • You get a roadmap built for your family

No guesswork and no waiting. We give you practical steps to start at home right away.

  • Confidence comes from knowing what to do

Parents tell us the first visit removes the fear. You will understand your child better and feel ready for what comes next.

First visit FAQs

What do we bring?

Bring your child, their favourite toy, and any reports you have. Comfortable clothes are best for play and movement.

How long is the session?

The first visit usually runs for one hour. This gives us time to connect, observe, and talk without rushing.

Will my child be scared?

Our therapists follow your child’s lead. We use play to build trust and let them warm up at their own pace.

Do parents stay?

Yes, you are part of the process. We want you in the room to see how your child engages and learns.

What happens next?

We discuss our observations with you and set goals together. Then we recommend a plan for ongoing therapy if needed.
