Kids learn best when they learn together

Our groups build skills through play, laughter and real connection in a safe space.

A group is more than a therapy session. It is a place to try, to fail, and to try again with friends beside you. The skills stick because they are real.

Skills that stick

Groups build skills in the places kids actually use them.

Communication grows with an audience

Kids practise asking, telling, and listening with peers who respond.

Emotional regulation through shared play

Waiting, losing, and winning happen here. Kids learn to handle all of it.

Motor skills in action

Obstacle courses and messy play build strength, coordination, and body awareness.

Confidence from being part of a crew

A child who feels accepted tries harder and risks more.

Our groups

Every group is built around a clear goal. Find the one that fits your child's age and needs.

Social explorers group (ages 5–8)

A small group for kids who want to make friends but find it hard. We practise greetings, sharing, and reading social cues through games and role play.

The SPOT crew

Our transdisciplinary group brings speech and occupational therapy together in one room. Kids work on talking, moving, and playing as one connected skill. We target communication and motor goals inside games kids already love. No drills. No worksheets. Just play with a purpose.

Programs are offered at selected times and may change according to demand and availability.

A term with your crew

Most groups run for eight to ten weeks. Here is what a typical term looks like.

  1. 01Week 1, getting to know you: we play name games and set group rules together. Kids learn the space and the faces.
  2. 02Week 3, finding our rhythm: the group settles into a routine. Skills are practised inside games and challenges.
  3. 03Week 6, big challenges: we raise the bar. Kids try harder tasks with the support of their crew.
  4. 04Week 8, celebration day: we finish with a party and a progress summary. Kids leave proud of what they did.

Groups FAQs

How big are groups?

We keep groups small. Most have four to six children. This gives every child a chance to be heard and to practise new skills.

What ages can join?

We run groups for children from three years old through to teenagers. Each group has a specific age range so the activities fit the kids.

Can I use NDIS?

Yes. Group therapy can be funded under your child's NDIS plan. Our team helps you understand how to use your funding for groups.

What does it cost?

Group sessions cost less than individual therapy. The exact cost depends on the group and its length. We give you a clear quote before you start.

What should we bring?

Just your child and a water bottle. We provide everything else. Wear comfortable clothes that can handle paint, sand, and a good run around.
