At Wild Kids Allied Health, we don’t tame wild. We nurture it, we guide it, we help it grow strong. And we believe every child’s wild is wonderful.

We support children to build confidence, connection, communication and independence through therapy that is playful, practical and centred around the whole child.

Every child is wild in their own way

We believe children grow best when they feel safe, understood and free to be themselves. Our team works alongside children and families to build meaningful skills for everyday life — from communication and emotional regulation to self-care, play, learning and participation.

We honour neurodiversity, different learning styles and individual sensory needs. Therapy is not something we do to children. It is something we build together with children, families and the people who support them.

  • Speech Pathology

Our Speech Pathologists support children and adolescents to develop communication skills. Areas may include functional communication, speech sounds, receptive and expressive language, social-pragmatic communication, AAC and feeding needs where clinically appropriate.

  • Occupational Therapy

This can include emotional regulation, sensory processing, attention, handwriting, fine and gross motor skills, executive functioning, visual processing and self-care.

  • SPOT — Transdisciplinary Therapy

SPOT brings Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy together around shared goals. It may include joint sessions or a primary therapist supported by the broader team, helping families receive coordinated support rather than separate plans working in isolation.

  • Next Level Program

Next Level takes therapy into the environments where everyday skills are actually used. Allied Health Assistants work with children in the home and community, with Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists developing, supervising and monitoring the program.

  • Functional Capacity Assessments

Functional Capacity Assessments gather evidence about how independently a child manages across important developmental and everyday domains. The process may involve questionnaires, updated assessments, home or school observations, collaboration with the support team, goal setting and a detailed report.

  • Groups & Programs

Group therapy gives children opportunities to practise social participation, communication, motor, school-readiness and independence skills with peers in a supported environment. Programs are offered at selected times and may change according to demand and availability.

What we believe in

  • Safe first. Connection first.

Children learn through movement, play, sensory exploration and meaningful participation. We use evidence-based clinical reasoning, but therapy should still feel engaging and relevant to the child in front of us.

  • Families are our partners

Parents and carers know their children best. We work collaboratively, align therapy with family priorities and everyday routines, and make goals practical enough to carry beyond the therapy room.

  • Growth over perfection

Progress is not always linear. We value effort, confidence, resilience and small wins as well as measurable goals. Every ripple matters.
